We left Loggerhead Marina in Stuart this morning and continued up the coast. After we left Stuart we entered the AICW at the crossroads beginning our long north bound trek. Plans were to anchor out but with 20-25 mile winds on the bow we opted for a marina. Found another Loggerhead Marina in Vero Beach and headed up that way. Saw a few spectacular kite surfers off of Jensen Beach. Got to Loggerhead in Vero (an awesome marina by the way.... in a totally protected bayou).
We borrowed the marina bikes, went to Publix for fresh produce and other needed provisions.
Captain Ron grilled another a super steak and roasted red skin potatoes while First Mate Kathrin made an awesome salad with fresh avocado. Ended the evening with a dip in the pool while the laundry was washing.
Sweet Dreams!
